About Us

Myself and a few friends started a personal & professional development book club August of 2003. It was named Uncle Nappy’s Book Club after the great Napoleon Hill. Think & Grow Rich was our first assignment.

We meet in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina every Wednesday at Starbucks from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. to discuss our assignments. We typically read 18 to 20 books per year on subjects such as marketing, management, personal development, leadership, sales, investing, etc.

The purpose of this blog is to open our personal development book club up to everyone everywhere. You will be reading some of the best books on the market and can join in by commenting on the various blog posts. This book club will keep you on track and give you the ideas necessary to get ahead in life through reading excellent books.
